Two Decatur County men were arrested Friday after Bainbridge Public Safety received complaints about drug sales at Landmark Apartments on Miluli Avenue.
Jamison Lowell Taylor, 39, of Attapulgus, and Ja’Mario Jamar Evans, 23, of Bainbridge, were arrested and each charged with controlled substance – possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
BPS investigator Captain Mark Esquivel said that officers received a description of suspects and their vehicle after repeated complaints about the area on Miluli Avenue. Public Safety Officer Ken Williams made contact with the vehicle described and noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Esquivel said that the two men were in the vehicle and Williams saw a small amount of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle.
Esquivel said that officers found about three ounces of marijuana and a pellet-type gun.
Taylor was previously arrested on drug charges in April when officers found a pound of marijuana after a traffic stop in Bainbridge.
