Bainbridge man shot in arm early Friday morning

Just after 3 a.m. Friday, a Bainbridge man was shot in the arm after he was involved in an argument, according to Bainbridge Public Safety.
The argument Thursday evening escalated and led to the shooting of Derrick Hallmon, 30, of Bainbridge.
According to a news release from BPS, witnesses saw a vehicle approach Hallmon’s Louise Street residence between 3 and 3:30 a.m. Friday.
An individual emerged from the vehicle and fired five rounds, hitting Hallmon in the arm.
As of press time, the incident is still under investigation and BPS is searching for any information about the individuals involved with the argument and shooting.
BPS Investigator Chris Jordan is in charge of the case.
