BPS arrests four in marijuana bust

Bainbridge Public safety arrested four individuals Tuesday morning after confiscating more than a pound of marijuana at an apartment on Lord Avenue.
BPS Investigator Chip Nix said after he discovered two marijuana bags during a traffic stop at the intersection of Carter Street and Albany Road, he determined the apartment on Lord Avenue was the original site of purchase.
“What we really did was put a stop to the drug sales in that area for the time being,” Nix said. “That was more than your average street level dealer. The investigation is still ongoing. We believe other parties are involved.”
Jamison Taylor was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute Within 1000 Feet of a Park or Housing Project, Obstruction of Officers, Probation Violation and Failure to Appear.
Barry Crawford was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
John Henry Ware IV was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Aundrea Rhyme of Bainbridge was also found inside the apartment and arrested. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute Within 1000 Feet of a Park or Housing Project.
