Miss McNair and Mr. Gambrell to wed in May

Tommy and April McNair of Climax announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn McNair, also of Climax, to Jesse “Cody” Gambrell of Orlando, Florida.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Phyllis Collins of Bainbridge, Mildred McNair of Climax and the late John E. “Buck” McNair.

Miss McNair is a 2009 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2014 graduate of Bainbridge State College with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

The groom-to-be is the son of Don and Linda Gambrell of Brinson, and the grandson of Jesse and Nell Hatton of Donalsonville and the late Holcomb C. and Marion H. Gambrell.

Mr. Gambrell is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a concentration in Horticulture, from the University of Georgia in 2012.

He is employed as a horticulturist at Walt Disney World.

The wedding is planned for May 16 at Panama City Beach, Florida.
