Rosa Mae Lemon

 A Celebration of Life service for Rosa Mae Lemon, 80, of Leesburg, Florida, was held Saturday, February 14, 2015.

She was born May 25, 1934 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Ola Mae Jones and Aaron Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters, Annie Pearl Johnson, Salisbury, Maryland, Jacqueline Burke, Bainbridge, Barbara Brown, Ocala, Florida, Gloria Lewis, Salisbury; four stepdaughters, Deborah Briatte, Levrina Lemon, LaJuana Lemon, Joy Lemon Mitchell; 13 grandchildren, Jerry Barr, Bruce Crosby, Charlie Burke (Leslie), Lisa Burke, Demetric Brown (Darnell), Pamela Taylor, Corenza Burke, Mark Taylor, AntonioTaylor, Dexter Taylor, Tracy Jones, Brittany Harris and Freda Harris; one brother-in-law, Willie James (Beverly) Lemon; sister-in-law, Laurastine Lemon, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Lemon; one daughter, Gwendolyn Lindo; two grandchildren, Tina Taylor and Charles Burke; five sisters and six brothers; three sisters-in-law, and a very special brother-in-law, The Rev. F. Bernard Lemon.

Interment was at the Florida National VA Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Eastside Funeral Home, Inc. of Leesburg, Florida was in charge of arrangements.
