Annis “Sister” Ingram Griffin

Annis “Sister” Ingram Griffin, 87, of Recovery, Ga. passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Boyd officiating. Interment followed at Sylvania Cemetery with her nephews serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Griffin was born August 31, 1927 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Robert Henry Ingram and Ethel Williams Ingram. She graduated from Faceville High School and was a retired clerk typist with the Florida State Hospital after 33 years. Mrs. Griffin enjoyed puzzle books, crocheting, rummikub, and fishing. She loved her family and her church family.
Survivors include her daughter, Lenelle G. Lambert and her husband, Wendell, of Recovery; her siblings, Bernice Yates Tuffs of Bainbridge, and Mickey Ingram Blocker and her husband, Ken, of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Rodney Lambert and his wife, Tina, and Derrick Lambert and his wife, Tonya; her great-grandchildren, Daryn Eve, Cody Hunter, and Alec Steven; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, C.H. Ingram, David Lee “Hopper” Ingram, Eunice Ingram Howell, and Bobby Carl Ingram.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
