The champion Lady Panthers, second place Lady Tornadoes, third place Lady Patriots and fourth place Lady Cats will all advance to this week’s State Class AAAA Tournament.

Coach Cochran said his team started slow against Westover and had a good late run but just was not able to pull out the victory.

“We played hard and hustled and made a late run but just fell a little short,” he said.

The Lady Cats will take on Veterans High School Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Kathleen, Georgia, near Warner Robins. Veterans, the first place team from Region 2-AAAA, is 26-1. The Lady Cats are 21-7.
