Miss Thomas to wed Mr. Evans in March
It is with honor and pleasure that Mr. David and Pastor Fayetta Thomas announce the engagement of their daughter, Davina Devaney Demeritt Thomas to Jonathan Martavius Evans, son of Ms. Angela Moten and Mr. Terandy and Anastasia Evans of Bainbridge.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. Paul Thomas and the late Ms.
Rebecca Thomas of Rochester, N.Y. and the late Rev. Ulysses and Demeritt Dunehoe of Bainbridge.
Miss Thomas is a 2009 graduate of Bainbridge High School, a graduate of Barbizon Modeling School and Sanford-Brown Institute of Tampa, Florida. She has modeled for BMG of Orlando, Fla,. and as a free agent. She received a diploma as a medical assistant in 2012 and is currently a service lead at Winn-Dixie, Inc. of Bainbridge.
The groom to be is the grandson of Mr. Lonnie Evans and Ms. Eva Pearl Evans of Bainbridge and Mrs. Dorothy Jeffrey and the late Mr. Joe Jeffrey of Bainbridge.
Mr. Evans is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School, and a 2014 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, Statesboro, Ga., with an associate of mortuary science.
He is employed with Shaw Industries, Moore Funeral Home of Donalsonville, Community Funeral Home of Blakely and as a trade embalmer.
The wedding is planned for March 21, 2015 at 4 p.m. at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church of Bainbridge.
