Bainbridge burglary ring busted by BPS

Bainbridge Public Safety made five arrests in relation to a string of recent burglaries.
Monday evening two homes located at 1510 Broughton Street and 1407 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive were burglarized, and a third burglary at 1413 MLK, Jr. Drive was attempted. The suspects attempted to enter the residence by moving a window air-conditioning unit, which set off an alarm, said BPS investigator Major Robert Humphrey.
Four firearms, a television, laptop computer, bicycle and several fishing rods were among the recovered items, Humphrey said.
Three juvenile males were arrested and each charged with three counts of burglary. Breyuanna Coleman, 17, was also arrested and charged with three counts of burglary.
A fourth male juvenile was arrested and charged for an unrelated theft and theft by receiving stolen property when he was found to be in possession of the bicycle taken from 1407 MLK Jr. Drive.
