Carolyn Hacker, 73, of Blakely, Ga., died Thursday night, Jan. 8, 2015 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, January 12, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Bluffton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stephen Hacker, Robert E. “Bobby” Williams, Chris Williams, Matt Williams. Bill Stone and Douglas Williams.

Carolyn was born May 27, 1941 near Bluffton, Ga. to the late Clyde Ellis Williams and Ouida Williams Williams. She graduated from the Cuthbert High School and retired as a Medical Transcriptionist.  She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.

Her survivors include her son: Stephen Hacker and his wife Traci of Bainbridge; a brother; Robert E. “Bobby” Williams and his wife Donna of Clemmons, NC and one grandchild, Brandon William Hacker of Bainbridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
