Mr. and Mrs. Mark White of Bainbridge, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Megan Danielle White to James Edward Ramer Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ramer of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Harlow of Brinson, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank White of Gulfport, Miss.

Miss White is a 2009 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2014 graduate from the University of Georgia, where she majored in public health.

The future groom is the grandson of Mattie Barbree and the late Charles H. Barbree Jr. and of Aubrey Ramer and the late Anne Ramer, all of Bainbridge.

Mr. Ramer is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned his degree in Public Health from the University of Georgia. He is employed by Northeast Georgia Health System.

The wedding is planned for February 28 at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bainbridge.

The couple will make their home in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
