Mr. Charles Brown, 82, of Colquitt, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Cook’s Union Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rodney Phillips, Dole Cook Jr., Stanley Cook, Roy Cook, Hamilton Cook, and Taylor Cook serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. at Cook’s Union Methodist Church.
Mr. Charles was a member of Cook’s Union Methodist Church and was a member of the Walter C. Dancer Lodge #115. He retired from Bainbridge State College as Director of Plant Operations.
He is survived by three sons, Rodney (Dottie) Brown of Donalsonville, Ga., Jeff (Melanie) Brown of Blakely, Ga., and Scott (Misty) Brown of Bainbridge; four grandchildren, Will Brown, Cory Brown, Abby Brown, and Maggy Brown; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
