The Bainbridge High School Air Force Junior ROTC unit presented their annual Toys For Tots donation to the Salvation Army Thursday morning.
Accepting the donation of 194 toys and a check for $82.98 from Air Force Junior ROTC program director Lieutenant Colonel Dave Stewart and Toys For Tots project chairman cadet Taylor Mims were Salvation Army director Stacy Warren and Salvation Army volunteer Tony Warren.
In accepting the donations, Salvation Army director Warren said the toys and money would allow many children to have a wonderful Christmas.
“The ROTC has been involved in this Toys For Tots program for many years and they always do a great job,” she said fondly looking at the toys. “They are a very caring and compassionate group of young people.”
