Ninth grade opens season with loss, junior varsity pulls off win to start year

The ninth grade Bearcats opened their season with a 47-40 loss to the Thomasville High School ninth grade Bulldogs
They were led by Desmond Thomas with 11 points. David Smart and Raydise Williams had 10 points apiece.
Their first win was a 56-52 victory over the Thomas County Central High School ninth grade Yellow Jackets. They were led by Desmond Thomas with a game high 17 points. Kiendall Lodman and David Smart added nine points apiece.
The junior varsity Bearcats opened their season with a 68-48 victory over the Seminole County High School junior varsity Indians.
They were led by Milton Gaylewith with a game-high 21 points. JacQuez Bruton was also in double figures with 11 points. The junior varsity went on to defeat the Dougherty High School junior varsity Trojans 47-39. Don Crankfield led them with 10 points. Milton Gayle added nine.
