Alice Jean Lawson Cherry

 Alice Lawson Cherry, 69, of Donalsonville died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services were held Monday, November 24, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Scarborough and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens with Cody Plamondon, Ricky Smith, Joe Moye, Ken Gaither, Bryan Brookins, and Earl Dollar serving as pall bearers. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cherry was a member of Oak View Church of God and retired from KMart as a sales associate.

She is survived by two sons, Gene (Patricia) Cherry of Donalsonville,  and Doug (Debbie) Cherry of Bainbridge; one daughter, Alicia (Donnie) Moore of Donalsonville; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Junior (Joyce) Lawson of Georgetown, Ga.; and one sister, Faye Davis of Eufala, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cherry and one sister, Nancy Earnest.
