Daisey L. Barnes Bobb

Mrs. Daisey L. Barnes Bobb was born March 2, 1936 to the late King David Barnes and the late Mattie Bryant Houston Barnes in Marianna, Florida.

She departed this life for life eternal on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her residence.

At an early age Daisey joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. She faithfully served on the Friendship Pallbearers Society, a choir member and as a Sunday School Teacher until her health begin to decline.

Daisey L. Barnes married the late Vernon Bobb, Sr. To this union five children were born.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Maggie Pearl Houston, Emma Francis Houston Cox and Hattie Frances Reddick.

Daisey now leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Tynese Bobb King and Sheila Bobb both of Banbridge; Cynthia Bobb of Columbus, Ga. and Terri Bobb Dames of Winter Haven, FL; one son, Vernon L. (Jacquelyn) Bobb, Jr. of Lake Wales, FL; two sisters-in-law, Berthenia Bobb of Sanford, FL and Ella J. Bobb Gilmore of Apopka, FL; 11 grandchildren, SaDonna Bobb, Tyrecous King, Sidney Bobb, Trey King, Lawanda Butler, Chantel Bowie, Brendalyn Bobb, Marcus Bobb, Vernon Lamar Bobb, III, Darius Bobb and McKenzye Bobb; three great grandchildren, Shareef Bobb, Kameron Jackson and Amarah Bobb, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Friendship M.B. Church with burial at Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.
