Mary Grace Wynn Glass, 72, passed away November 10, 2014 at her residence in Ft. Gaines, Ga. Her funeral will be a graveside service Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the New Park Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, Ga. with Rev. Bill Sanders officiating.
Mrs. Glass was born June 17, 1942 in Lewisburg, Tenn.,  to the late Hubert Eugene Wynn and Clabie Stella Bledsoe Wynn.  She was a former owner and operator of Larry’s Quick Stop in Ft. Gaines and a member of the New Harvest Baptist Church. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a brother William (Bill) Wynn and a sister Martha Hils.
Mrs. Glass is survived by her husband Larry Mims Glass of Ft. Gaines; a daughter Leah Renee Merkison and son-in-law Paul Merkison of Ft. Gaines and a son Larry Mims (Jake) Glass Jr. of Ft. Gaines. She has two sisters: Susan Tabor and husband Butch of Crawfordville, Fla. and Gloria Brock of Bainbridge; four brothers, David Wynn and wife Helen of Midway, Ga., Carroll Wynn and wife Judy of Bainbridge, Hubert E. Wynn Jr. and wife Kim of Bainbridge and William Howard Wynn, Jr. of Bainbridge.
There are three Grandchildren: Rachel Merkison, Mary Merkison and Paul Ashley Merkison and three Great-Grandchildren; Precious Thomas, Joseph Thomas and Michael Merkison.
