Letter to the Editor

I’m a 93-year-old who is finally totally disgusted with the way some of our elected city and county officials are dealing with taxpayers money and making decisions which don’t exhibit much use of the common sence.
I think a thorough investigation into actions and behind the scene deals of some of the officials is warranted.
I know the Climax district has many more qualified people to represent them than the current one. Why doesn’t someone step up?
I submit a copy of an article that was published in a Dear Abby column several years ago, which I hope makes many of you realize that we now have one foot on next to the last step and one raised in mid-air.
From bondage to spiritual faith.
From spiritual faith to great courage.
From great courage to liberty.
From liberty to abundance to abundance.
From abundance to selfishness.
From selfishness to complacency.
From complacency to apathy.
From apathy to dependency.
From dependency back again into bondage.
I also feel that the taxpayers should not be held responsible for the irresponsible behavior of Sheriff’s Office employees.
Thank you for letting me air my frustrations with most in the city and county officials and hope if any of you feel as I do, you’ll also let it be known in Letters to the Editor.
Thank you,
Francis Lee
