Heather Worek Barlow, 35, of Climax, Ga., passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Poppell officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Lee Hitson, Danny Moore, Roy Mathews, Christopher Bryant, James Cristante and James Edenfield serving as active pallbearers.

Heather was born December 7, 1978 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Kathy and Steve Bush. She is a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1997 and received her associate degree in early childhood education. She worked as a substitute teacher for the Decatur County Board of Education and loved children. Heather enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and the beach. Her daughters were her whole world.
Survivors include her daughter, Chloe Barlow of Climax; her parents, Kathy Bush and her husband, Steve, of Climax, and Russell Worek and his wife, Verdie, of Bainbridge; her siblings, Ashley Worek of Climax, Russell Worek and his wife, Melissa, of Bainbridge, Jason Logue and his wife, Rachel, of Blakely, Shane Worek and his wife, Kim, of Bainbridge, and LeighAnne Mortimer of Tallahassee, Fla.; her grandmothers, Eunice Meredith of Climax and Isabelle Bush of Pelham, Ala.; several nieces and nephews and a host of close friends who loved her dearly, including special friends, Jessica Edenfield, Sonja Cristante. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Emma Barlow.
