Mickey and Lorie G. Connell, of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Connell, to Dallas Shawn West, son of Wyndell and Pam West of Bainbridge.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late James M. and Charlene L. Connell, and of the late Landon O. and Margery D. Griner.

Miss Connell is a 2005 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge College. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Bainbridge Healthcare.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Chirl Phillips and the late Bobby Phillips of Bainbridge, and of the late James and Lois West, also of Bainbridge.

Mr. West is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and received his CDL from Bainbridge College in 2005. He is employed at Pepsi.

The private wedding ceremony is set for October 24 at 6 p.m. at the Climax Depot.
