JV football wins 12-6

The Bainbridge High School junior varsity Bearcats football team defeated the Early County junior varsity Bobcats 12-6 Thursday at Centennial Field.
Sophomore running back Kerenski Williams ran 28 yards for a touchdown with 4:14 left in the first quarter to give the Bearcats a 6-0 lead.
Freshman quarterback Caleb Boutwell ran 80 yards for an apparent touchdown with 8:11 left in the second quarter but the play was called back due to a block in the back.
Freshman running back Markel Broadnax ran 17 yards for a touchdown with 2:36 left in the third quarter to increase the Bearcats lead to 12-0.
The Bobcats cut the advantage to 12-6 when quarterback Kevin George threw a 25 yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Dayshun Eaford 8:55 left in the fourth quarter.
The Bearcats moved the ball well the entire game. They drove down to the Bobcats five yard line late in the fourth quarter but the clock ran out before they had an opportunity to score again.
