Bainbridge Public Safety blocked off a portion of West Street on Tuesday after an accident at the West Street and Louise Street intersection around 10 a.m.

One of the drivers in the accident was on her way to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital and Manor because she wasn’t feeling well when she “blacked out” and allegedly hit the other vehicle, according to the incident report. She was transported to the hospital via ambulance after the accident.

Bainbridge Public Safety director Chief Eric Miller said that the woman was involved in another incident earlier that morning on Spring Creek Road due to a medical problem and was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first incident. She was returning to the hospital because she didn’t feel well.
