Grace Christian Academy Cougars shut out Alethia 3-0 in Pensacola

Coach Whitney Thomas’s Grace Christian Academy Cougars coed soccer team shut out Alethia Christian School 3-0 in a tournament over the weekend in Pensacola, Florida.
“We dribbled well, set up well and shot well against Alethia,” coach Thomas said. “Our goal tender also played extremely well.”
The Cougars, who play their home games at Bill Reynolds Sports Park, will return to action Tuesday, Sept. 9, when they take on Byne Memorial Baptist School in Albany.
The Cougars will close their season with a pair of home games at Bill Reynolds Sports Park.
They will host Emmanuel Christian School Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. and Byne Memorial Baptist School Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m.
Thomas, who played soccer for the Bainbridge High School Lady Cats and the Young Harris College Mountain Lions, says she is looking for her team to have a strong finish.
“All of our players are really playing hard and hustling and that is all you can ask,” she said.
