Duane Edward Marsh, 83, of Reading, Michigan, and formerly of Georgia, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. Duane was the Director of Operations, ITT Automotive, retiring in 1991.  He was also the Vice President of Resource Technology in Cairo Ga., director of TIFA in Reading, member of the Reading Rotary Club, and a 60-year member of the Reading American Legion Post #360.  Duane was also a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Hillsdale, Mich. and a founder and board member of St. Peter’s Free Clinic. He enjoyed cooking, poetry, and he especially loved his family and all his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene (Sprow) Marsh, whom he married October 1, 1954; two daughters, Jill (David) Pavka of Hillsdale; Sue Ellen (Ray) Lampras of Lilburn Ga.; one son, Jack (Bonnie) Marsh of Jonesville, Mich.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at 11 a.m., at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Hillsdale, Mich. with Reverend Sandy Benes officiating.
