Willie Ferrell Pickle, 68, of Albany, died August 20, 2014 at his residence.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 A. M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.  Interment will follow at Pickle Cemetery in Early County.

Born on March 21, 1946 in Colquitt, to Willie Vaughn Pickle and Julia Anne Richardson Pickle, he moved from Miller County, to Albany, forty-six years ago.  Mr. Pickle was a graduate of Miller County High School.  He was a Senior Superintendent with NorSouth Construction Company for twenty-five plus years and worked on industrial and commercial sites all over the South.

Survivors include his children, Ron (Amber) Pickle of Waco, Ga., Carrie (Buck) Buchannan and Kelly Pickle all of Albany, Lisa (Kenny) Reeves of Ft. Gaines, Ga. and Tony (Heather) Pickle of Leesburg, Ga.; his siblings, Herman (Toni) Pickle, Royce (Gail) Pickle and Alice (Tim) Warren all of Colquitt, Tuck (Leona) Pickle of Albany, Harold (Elasia) Pickle of Blakely, Ga., Glenda (David) Lane of Tifton, Ga., Patsy (Ralph) Faircloth of Baconton, Ga. and Claire Sue (Johnny) Phillips of Damascus, Ga.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany.
