Miss Galpin to wed Mr. O’Quinn

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Galpin of Bainbridge proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Awbree Willingham Galpin to Robert Earl O’Quinn, son of Ms. Jamie Payne of Dawsonville, Georgia, and Mr. Chris O’Quinn of Griffin, Georgia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Travis M. Willingham of Bainbridge, formerly of Roanoke, Alabama, and the late Judge and Mrs. Robert F. Galpin of Bainbridge.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Halford O’Quinn of Watkinsville, Georgia, and Mr. James Poore of Birmingham, Alabama, and Mrs. Jackie Thompson of Milner, Georgia.
Miss Galpin graduated as salutatorian from Bainbridge High School in 2005. She then attended the University of Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. In 2013, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Galpin now practices as a general dentist at Southlake Dental Care in St. Johns, Florida.
Mr. O’Quinn graduated with honors from Dawson County High School in 2008. He then attended the University of Georgia where he graduated magna cum laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.
He now works at Fidelity Investments as a Financial Advisor in Jacksonville, Florida.
The wedding will take place on September 20, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the Kitchen Garden at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. A reception will follow at Uno Hill Barn. Formal invitations will be sent.
