Amber Nicole Harrell, 21, transitioned from this life on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after a 2 ½ battle with Renal Medullary Carcinoma Cancer.
She was a Transportation Assistant for Leon County Schools and had attended Florida A&M University majoring in Elementary Education. She was an active member of Second Morning Star MB Church in Attapulgus, until her health declined.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12th at 11 am at Second Morning Star MB Church with burial at Elisha and Mary Harris Garden of Peace in Attapulgus, with viewing from 9 to 11a.m. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Strong and Jones Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Oscar and Connie Brown Harrell; her siblings, Ilesha (Carlos) Hughes, Oscar L. (Racquel) Harrell, Sha’ Rhonda L. Brown and Eric L. Brown; her grandmothers Annie Lee Poole Smith and Martha Smith; her nieces; Kailah M. Brown, Niyla D. Harrell and Julisa D. Harrell; her nephews; Aaron D. Hughes and Ahmad D. Hughes; her Godparents, James and Donnie Brown, and her God Brother, James A. Brown; her aunts; Jacquelyn Ross, Tonya Session, Pearlie Inez Smith, Annie Lee Davis Susan (David) Harris-Council, Dorothy (James) Thomas, Loretta (James) Harrell, Dr. Florence M. Harrell, Annie Doris (Willie) Jackson, and Evelyn D. Harris; her uncles; William McKinley Smith, III., Freddie Smith, Vernard (Clara) Harris, Willie Gus (Annie Doris) Harrell, Anthony (Gloria) Harrell, Leon (Beatrice) Harris, Sr., Gary (Gayla) Harris, Cosmore (Ira Dean) Harrell, Jr., James (Lucille) Harris, Issac Harris, Eddie (Maggie) Harris, Sr., Franklin (Mamie) Lockett and Charles Lockett of Fairbanks, Alaska. Close friends; Ronerra Rosier, Arnelia Waters, Traderria Thornton, Christina Aninakwa, and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Smith Harrell and her grandparents, William M Smith, Jr., Cosmore Harrell, Sr., Inez Cooper Harrell, Isah Harris and Mary Frances Lee Harris.
