A driver was traveling north on East River Road when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle due to a seizure and ran into a tree.

A passenger in the vehicle has suffered injuries to the neck and arm. She and the driver have been transported to Memorial Hospital for further examination.

Property owners said they heard a loud crash outside and walked out to find the car had streaked across their front yard and hit a tree beside their house.
