Lady Cats take down Dothan, Bearcats fall

Coach Amy Thomas’ Bainbridge High School Lady Cats and Bearcats tennis teams divided a pair of matches with the Dothan High School Lady Tigers and Tigers at the BHS courts Monday.
The Lady Cats won 4-5 and the Bearcats lost 5-4. At number one girls singles, Emma Kate Smith lost 10-7 to Nadeline Frasier. At number two girls singles, Lynsey Waddell lost to lost to Serin Baek 10-7
Mallie Rollins defeated Sam Mayo 2-0 at number three girls singles and Stephanie Mayfield defeated Tayor Rodgers 2-10 at number four girls singles.
Ralyn Willis lost to Tara Beth Scarborough 10-3 at number five girls singles and Briana Mills lost to Rachel Morris 11-9 at number six girls singles.
Kate Smith and Waddell defeated Frazier and Baek 4-10 at number one girls doubles, Mallie Rollins and Stephanie Mayfield defeated Mayo and Rodgers 4-10 at number two girls doubles and Anna Beth Bowles and Maci Barber defeated Scarborough and Morris 6-10 at number three girls doubles.
At number one boys singles, Hema Hasona defeated Peter Whitehurst 4-10. At number two boys singles, Nour Hosona lost to Jordan May 10-6. At number three boys singles, Jones Gossett defeated Auborn Shephard 10-7, and at number four boys singles, Jack Reynolds defeated Andres Perez 2-10.
At number five boys singles, Bennett Enfinger lost to Cameron Ball 10-6, and at number six boys singles, Reid Willis lost to Zac Tantillo 10-4.
Hema Hasona and Nour Hasona lost to Whitehurst and May 11-9 at number one singles and Jones Gossett and Jack Reynolds defeated Tantillo and Shepherd 2-10 at number two doubles.
Josh Moorhead and A.J. Bailey defeated Perez and Ball 4-10 at number three boys singles.
