A house on College Street was shot at Tuesday, leaving bullet holes in the walls and no suspects.
Bainbridge Public Safety officer Jared Long responded to the call and said he and other officers noticed shell casings in the road. Captain Mark Esquivel said there were four to five bullet holes in the front door.
Esquivel said he followed the bullet trail and found fragments of a bullet in a bedroom pillow. He said he followed another trail from the front door and found bullet fragments lying in the middle of the living room floor.
“Nobody was hurt and residents said they have no idea who it could have been,” Esquivel said.
Esquivel said he and other BPS officers collected the evidence and statements from the homeowners. The case is still under investigation.
