BHS tennis nears season’s end

Coach Amy Thomas’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats tennis teams will host the Lee County High School Trojans and Lady Trojans in a region 1-AAAAA match Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the school courts and host the region 1-AAAAA Tennis Tournament Thursday April 17 at the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center.
Schools taking part in the region 1-AAAAA Tournament will be Lee County’s Trojans and Lady Trojans, the Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets and Lady Yellow Jackets, the Harris County High School Tigers and Lady Tigers, the Hardaway of Columbus High School Golden Hawks and Lady Golden Hawks and the Northside Columbus High School Patriots and Lady Patriots.
The Bearcats will feature Jones Gossett at number one singles, Jack Reynolds at number two singles and Bennett Enfinger at number three singles.
Reid Willis and Josh Moorhead are at number one doubles and Logan Moorhead and Bryce Howell are at number two doubles.
The Lady Cats will feature Taylor Greene at number one singles, Lynsey Waddell at number two singles, Ralyn Willis or Hannah Hays at number three singles.
Mallie Rollins and Stephanie Mayfield are at number one doubles and Anna Beth Bowles and Maci Barber are at number two doubles.
