Hunter B. Parker

Hunter B. Parker, 84, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at
Donalsonville Hospital.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Mosley officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Parker was born Dec. 7, 1929 in Union Springs, Ala., the son of Donald Wright Parker and Mabel Moore Parker. He was a graduate of Auburn University and served in the United States Army Band during the Korean War. For years he was active in the Donalsonville Lions Club and the Albany American Legion. Mr. Parker served the music ministries of several churches in the Southeast. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bainbridge, GA.
He was preceded in death by his son, Henry Parker.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Betty Parker of Bainbridge; his sons, Stephen C. Parker of Albany, and Kenneth H. Parker and his wife, Larisa, of Smyrna, Ga.; his brother, Donald Parker of Union Springs, Ala.; and his three grandchildren, Matthew Parker, James Parker, Susannah Parker.
