Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dale Smith of Hinesville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Brooke, to Mr. Wesley Middleton Powell III of Bainbridge. Mr. Powell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Middleton Powell Jr., also of Bainbridge.
Miss Smith is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Smith of Hinesville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Moody of Allenhurst, Ga.
She is a 2005 graduate of Bradwell Institute High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2010 from Georgia Southern University and her Master of Science degree in Education from Armstrong Atlantic University in 2013. She is currently employed by the Liberty County Board of Education.
Mr. Powell is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jerome Dollar and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Middleton Powell.
He is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University in 2012. He is employed with the family business, Dollar Brothers Inc.
The wedding will be held at Hinesville Presbyterian Church on March 1 at 5:30 in the evening, with a reception following at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve in Midway, Ga.
All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
