Dollar

Tom A. “Bunk” Dollar, 82, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his residence.
The graveside funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill McCamon and Mr. Tim Phillips officiating.
The family received friends immediately following the
service at the cemetery.
Mr. Dollar was born August 27, 1931 in Bainbridge,  the son of Robert Roy Dollar and Clara Bell Dollar. He served in the U.S. Army and was the retired owner of Dollar Sales and Service. He was a member of Newark Baptist Church in Thomasville, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elaine Dollar Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy White Dollar of Bainbridge; his sons, Thomas A. “Al” Dollar, Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Dothan, Ala. and Bobby Dollar and his wife, Mei Li, of Thomasville; his sisters, Annette Collins and her husband, Hugh, of Tallahassee, Fla. and Roylene Austin and her husband, Earl, of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Kristin Barron, Alexis Dollar, Robby Dollar, Allison Middlebrooks, Joyce Miller Coddington, Jennifer Miller Yeager; and his great-grandchildren, Tanner Middlebrooks, Ava Middlebrooks, Troy Dollar, William Barron, Ava Barron, and Bennett Barron.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
