On February 25, 2014, George Edward Haywood, Jr. went to on to walk the streets of gold with our Heavenly Father; his mother, Mary Stillman Haywood; his father, George Edward Haywood, Sr.; and his sons, George Edward Haywood, III and Glen Edward Haywood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda Toney Haywood and their children, Shavigny Haywood, Tara (Raymond) Hall, Charlie Jack Haywood, Gwen Pagano, and Misty (Brad) Willard; his grandchildren, Linda Bridges, Michael Bridges, Tabitha Miner, Chase Miner, Kimberly Haywood, Katie Hall, Samantha Haywood, Brianna Haywood, Candice Stevens, Tony Stevens and Alexia Osborne; his great-grandchildren, Gracie Bridges, Dustin Bridges, Cameron Bridges, Glen Haywood, Eve Haywood, and Logan James Wittimore. He is also survived by his loving brother, James Oscar Haywood.
George “Pa Pa” will be loved and missed by all his family, to include nieces and nephews as well as his numerous friends.
A memorial service for Mr. Haywood will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville.
