Funeral services for Dale Harrison Weaver, 56, of Cairo were held Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, with Rev. Stanley Phillips and Rev. Paul Day officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax.
Mrs. Weaver passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.
Active pallbearers were Jason Fletcher, Curtis Weaver, Cameron Shockley, Dustin Shockley, Michael Midler, and Garrett Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were Pine Level Deacons and their wives; local pastors and wives.
Mrs. Weaver was born on May 24, 1957, in Bainbridge, to Larry Dale Harrison and  Wylene Ouzts Harrison. On June 8, 1974, she married James W. “Jim” Weaver, Jr., who survives. Dale worked as a real estate broker for Cairo Realty for the nine years and previously for Dr. Sydney Cochran in Bainbridge, for eighteen years. She was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church. Dale served The Lord as a pastor’s wife for the last eleven years at Pine Level Baptist Church and previously in Reno Baptist Church and Climax Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James W. “Jim” Weaver, Jr.; son, James W. “Jayme” Weaver, III (Jonna) of Cairo; daughter, DeAnn Ansley (John) of Ochlocknee, Ga.; grandchildren, Rivka and Siska Weaver, both of Cairo, Joel and Maddie Ansley both of Ochlocknee; parents, Larry and Wylene Harrison of Bainbridge, sister, Tracey Harrison Smith (Mike) of Bainbridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.
