Glover named to Georgia Downtown Association Board

The Georgia Downtown Association (GDA) recently announced that Bainbridge Downtown Development Authority Director Amanda Glover has been selected as one of the newest members of the GDA Board of Directors. Glover will serve a two-year term from 2014-2015. Twelve qualified Board of Director nominations were submitted to the Association to fill the four vacant seats, three to be filled by downtown professionals and one non-downtown professional.
The Georgia Downtown Association is a non-profit association that promotes the economic redevelopment of Georgia’s traditional downtowns. Through advocacy, education and marketing, GDA works to focus the public’s attention on the value of downtown. GDA is an independent association that supports both public and private sector efforts targeted at enhancing Georgia’s downtowns.
