Susan K. Lanham Harned, 67, of Charleston, Ill., passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Marcia McRae officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery.
Ms. Harned was born May 29, 1946 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Frank Bristol Lanham and Peggy Bower Lanham. She earned a PhD from the University of Florida and was a speech pathologist.
Survivors include her sons, Bryan Bower Harned and his wife, Janna, of Gainesville, Fla. and David Sidney Harned of Dundee, Ill.; her sister, Caroline Cunningham and her husband, Edward, of Springfield, Ill.; and her four grandchildren, Abigail, Lillian, Mia, and Parker.
