Charles W. Campbell

Charles W. Campbell, 70, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewitt Phillips officiating. Interment was at White’s Bridge Cemetery with Bobby Mills, Rocky Mills, Harold Tomlin, Robbie Phillips, Kennie Bennett and Danny Culverson serving as active pallbearers.
Mr. Campbell was born Oct. 19, 1943 in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. the son of Willie Gus Campbell and Alma Boles Campbell. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam, and owned a landscape excavation and
logging business. Mr. Campbell was a member of V.F.W. Post #4904.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Campbell; and his sister, Hazel Burgess.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Phillips Campbell of Bainbridge; his daughters, Cindy Campbell, Karen C. Humphrey and her husband, Robert and Kimberly C. Bennett and her husband, James, all of Bainbridge; his sisters, Helen Benyon of Daytona, Fla. and Sue Drake of DeFuniak Springs; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Dakota, Brooke, Tanner, Abby, and Langston.
