Coach Kelvin Cochran’s Bainbridge High School Lady Cats basketball team dropped a close 41-37 decision to the Thomasville High School Lady Bulldogs last Friday in Thomasville.
The Lady Cats outscored the Lady Bulldogs 20-10 in the fourth quarter to pull close at the end.
“We really played hard in the fourth quarter,” Cochran said. “If we had scored more points the first two quarters, we would have had a chance to win. We have got to start playing harder early.”
Alexis Russ, Alexandria Carter and Patra Parris all scored 10 points each to share Lady Cats scoring honors.
Tameria Levens put in five and Beonka Madge scored two. Ricarosa Johnson of the Lady Bulldogs took game scoring honors with 15 points.
Bainbridge hosts Seminole County Jan. 3.
