Funeral services for Charles Elijah Gary, 68, of Havana, Fla. will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Havana, with Bishop A.J. Richardson Jr., Rev. Mary W. Robinson, Rev. Clifford Hill, Rev. Sylvia Jones and Pastor Rev. Gerrard Lindsey officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Havana with United States Army personnel acting as pallbearers and retired Army personnel as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Gary was born Nov. 4, 1945 and passed away Nov. 25, 2013 at his home following a short illness.
Melton Mortuary of Attapulgus is in charge of arrangements.
