Bainbridge State College is continuing to grow in so many new and exciting ways. One of the most recent additions to the knowledgeable, well-rounded staff and faculty at BSC is Lauren Harrell, the new interim director of Institutional Advancement.
BSC President Richard Carvajal said he was thrilled to welcome Harrell to the college’s team. He appointed Harrell after searching for someone to fll the vacancy left by former Executive Director Dale Fuller. The folks at BSC have chosen such a fantastic person to fill her shoes, and a very worthy one, as well.
Harrell has been the president of DeHildren Realty and has been involved in various community groups like Friendship House, Little Black Dress, the Bainbridge Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Bainbridge Rotary Club. Not only is Harrell overseeing the Office of Institutional Advancement, but she’ll serve as the executive director of the College’s Foundation. The Foundation topped more than $1 million in assets. BSC has an incredible asset of their own in Harrell.
No doubt she will help students achieve their goals and handle business procedures for the college extraordinarily well. She is a dynamic individual with a lot to offer.
