Dr. Brenda Jauert Musgrove

Dr. Brenda Jauert Musgrove, 57, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Medley and Rev. Jean Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Ben Racoff, Aaron Glascock, Kirby Eakin, Roger Edmunds, John Ulrich, and Michael Barber serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at
Dr. Musgrove was born November 28, 1955 in Macon, GA, the daughter of L. F. Jauert and Betty Wall Jauert. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1973. She received her Associates degree from Bainbridge College, her Bachelors degree from Albany State University, her Masters from Valdosta State University, and her EdD from Nova Southeastern University. She was a teacher at Potter Street Elementary School and attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Hope Hedrick and her husband, Matthew, of Columbus, MS, Buddy Musgrove and his wife, Kate, of Atlanta, GA, Kelly Musgrove of Bainbridge, GA, and Kyle Musgrove of Bainbridge, GA; her parents, L.F. and Betty Jauert of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Brad Jauert and his wife, Julie of San Antonio, TX, Robin Jauert of Tallahassee, FL, and Beth Buckel and her husband, Randy, of Tallahassee, FL; her grandchild, Caroline Musgrove of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen J. Kelly.
