Tillman J. Dean, 92, of Bainbridge, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at Bainbridge Health Care.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Walter Todd and Rev. Conrad Salter officiating and concluded at the chapel.
Interment was at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with his nephews serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Tillman was born Oct. 17, 1921 in Bainbridge, the son of Donnie David Dean and Lena Dollar Dean.
He served in the United States Navy, was a charter member of the Decatur County Cattlemen Association, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Mr. Tillman was a member of the Whigham Masonic Lodge #356 and the Shriners and served on the Board at Mt. Pleasant School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donnie David Dean and Lena Dollar Dean; and his brothers, Lawrence Dean, Otis Dean and Dewayne Dean.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Louise Franklin Dean; his children, Steve P. Dean and his wife, Terri, of Bainbridge, Susan Dean Hand of Bainbridge, Debra Sharpe and her husband, Andy, of Statesboro, Ga. and
Dennis O’Hearn and his wife, Debbie, of Donalsonville; his siblings, Douglas D. Dean and his wife, JoAnne, of Climax, Cecil Dean and his wife, Mary, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Virginia Wooten and her husband, Donnie, of Climax; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Dean Brady, Amy B. Seubert, Donnie Dean, Len Dean, Abbie Bush, and Todd Hand; and his six great-grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
