Randall Wimberly, 49, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Cloud and Rev. Johnny Burdick officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church
Cemetery with John Swicord, Jason Barlow, Dale McLendon, Lester Brown,
Lawson “Big Boy” Wimberly, and Randy Yawn serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct.19, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home.
Mr. Wimberly was born April 6, 1964 in Bainbridge. He was a mechanic for the Decatur County Road Department for 18 years and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard “Preacher” Wimberly.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Margaret Wimberly of Bainbridge; his children, Ashley Wimberly, Amanda Wimberly and Aaron Wimberly, all of Bainbridge; his brother, Mike Wimberly of Bainbridge; his mother, Vennie C. Wimberly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
