Daniel Provence’s foot was on fire Friday night against the Thomas County Central Yellowjackets as he sent three field goals and two extra points through the goal post, raking in 11 points total for the Bearcats.

Provence continues to pace himself into the BHS record books. He currently holds the school’s scoring record for kickers with 139 points, beating out former record holder Keenan Adam’s 127 points. Provence passed Adams with two extra points in a win against Early County earlier this season.

Provence now has 94 career extra points and 15 field goals tying him with Adams for second all-time highest in school history. The current BHS career field goal record is 17, held by Stephen McRae from 1989 to 1991.
