Harris takes two cross country championships, team advances through season

Bainbridge High School Bearcats National Elite runner ,Chase Harris finished first overall in two recent cross country events. His Saturday September 21 Leesburg Lee County High School Invitational Meet winning time was 16:03.63 .
This past Saturday at the Pebble Hill Plantation Meet in Thomasville, Harris set a new course record of 16:29.
Lady Cat Paige Braswell, who is ranked number one in Region 1AAAA and number 13 in the state, took the overall girls championship in Thomasville with a time of 20:32.
Harris’s brother Caleb Harris, competing for the Bainbridge Middle School Bearcats, in the Thomasville run’s middle school event took third with a time of 11:02.
At the middle school boys competition in Leesburg, Drevyon Banks was eighth in a time of 17:55.00, Brenden Greene was 11th in a time of 18:21.59, Bennett Enfinger was the 14th in with a time of 18:31.46, Ashton Cato was 27th in a time of 19:15.11, Perry Waddell was 51st in a time of 19:59.67 Ben Cox was 52nd in a time of 20:00.15, and Grasyson Graham was 66th in a time of 20:24.46
Other Bainbridge Middle School finishers in the 214 runner Leesburg field were Wright Cook, who was 76th in a time of 20:47.72 and Dexter Lagace,, who was 86th in a time of 21:03.22.
Rounding out the Bearcats middle school times in Leesburg were David Brock, who was 101 with a time of 21:31.32, Michael Bush, who who was 108 in a time of 21:47.52, Taylor Colon who was 132 in a time of 22:48.67, Eric Conner, who was 169 in a time of 24:54.02, Zenil Patel, who was 181 in a time of 25:41.44, Quang Pham, who was 193 in a time of 27:04.42 and Austin Wade in 206 with a time of 28:52:95
