United Way Day of Action is Saturday

United Way of Bainbridge-Decatur County will be holding our 3nd Annual Day of Action. A one day event supporting United Way funded agencies.

Please drop off your donations of supplies on Saturday, June 24, 2013 between 8:00 a.m. and Noon for our local United Way funded agencies at the YMCA located on 1818 E. Shotwell Street in Bainbridge. This is a great project for civic, youth and churches to support.

Items needed include

• Peanut Butter, Rice and canned goods

• Reams of new white copy paper

• School supplies

• Clean men’s business attire

The United Way of Bainbridge-Decatur County plays a very important role in the health of our community. When a family is financially stable, has good health and the educational skills to be successful then the entire community benefits from the productiveness of those individuals. When you make a donation to United Way you are supporting local programs and services that benefit needy individuals and families’ right here in our community.

United Way works hard to ensure that each donated dollar is spent wisely and supports local agencies providing programs and services serving the most people in the most efficient way possible.
