Funeral services for Mr. Johnny James Olds Jr., 39, were held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Antioch M.B. Church in Brinson, with the Rev. Kelvin Wells officiating. Interment was at Oak Long Cemetery in Miller County, with Larry Williams, Carye Collier, Fredrick Collier, Willie Ross, Derrick Hopkins, Eferem Willingham, Marcus Fudge, Eric Hopkins and John Rollins III acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Olds was born Nov. 1, 1973, in Tampa, Fla. to Johnny James Olds Sr. and the late Jeanette Fudge Canady.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in the Class of 1993 and received an associate degree from Bainbridge College as an electrician and draftsman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janette Fudge Canady, his grandparents, Charles Olds, Jenny West Fudge and George Fudge.

Survivors include his wife, Bridgett Olds; his father, Johnny James Olds Sr. (Sharon); his children, Quintavious, Trinity, Jalin, Montaz, Malik, Janiyah, Jordan, Bryce; one step-son Gregory McIntyre Jr.; his brother, Lewis (Celeste) Peterson; his grandmother, Helen M. Spears; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Southview Mortuary, Inc., was in charge of arrangements.
