Carl Edward Higginbottom, 56, formerly of Bainbridge, passed away June 27, 2013, at the home of his parents, in Hiram, Ga. Carl was born April 14, 1957, in Quincy, Fla.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.

Carl is survived by his parents, Foy E. “Bud” Higginbottom and Nell Glover Higginbottom of Hiram, formerly of Bainbridge and Lake Seminole, Ga.; brothers, Steve Higginbottom and his wife Elise of Powder Springs, Ga., and Grant Higginbottom and his wife Carolina of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Sandi Martin and her husband Allen of Powder Springs; nephew, Stephen Deuble of El Paso, Texas, and niece, Babs Higginbottom of Cheyene, Wyoming, children of Steve and Elise; and nephew Matt Martin and niece Molly Martin of Powder Springs, children of Sandi and Allen.
